Firey Gorls

Firey Gorls is a piece with eyes, fire, and the binakol textile (a textile pattern from Ilocos that symbolizes the waves or whirlpools). A painting that pushes us to keep the fire in us alive, and how we must protect our culture, and the archives as we move forward in choosing which to remember and forget.
