High Voltage Redemption

A man with a long beard and curly hair and a thin body,
pressed a button on a box attached to a light pole out of curiosity.
He was lifted up and stuck to the pole, unable to be brought down.
Over time, he became a fixture on the street,
a symbol of the dangers of curiosity and the fleeting nature of life.
The city changed around him,
but Jesus remained suspended in time.
Eventually, Jesus,s story was forgotten,
and he became a distant memory, a name on an old news article.
And still, he remained, stuck to the light pole,
watching the world go by below.
