The first word spoken by the woodcutter, "I just don't understand" was what I felt for something for a long time, struck by the familiarity of the unreliable narrators and the overlapping of stories in between, the two collide.

With the half-binding format, pages could be flipped and turned to create/form different scene. Other than the unknown and the uncontrollable factors in life (the binding), whether you are making a choice or not, either way, you are choosing.
